Core Manufacturing Processes
⚡ EFW (Electric Fusion Welding
EFW is a method of forming a steel plate and then welding it using a filler metal.With extremely high reliability of the welded joint, it is mainly used in harsh environments of high temperature and high pressure, and is especially optimized for manufacturing thick-walled special alloy steel and stainless steel piping.
- Main Application: High-pressure lines in petrochemical plants, refinery equipment, corrosive fluid transport pipes
📏 LSAW (Longitudinal Submerged Arc Welding)
A method where steel plates are pressed into U and O shapes (UOE forming) and then the seam is welded in a straight line (longitudinally). The short weld line lowers the probability of defects, and it allows for heavy-wall forming, making it a premium welded pipe mainly used for deep-sea pipelines or offshore structures.
- Main Application: O&G main pipelines (API 5L), offshore structures, high-pressure gas lines
🌀 SSAW (Spiral Submerged Arc Welding)
This is a method of winding steel strips in a coil form into a spiral shape to form a tube and then welding it. With a single coil specification, various large-diameter pipes can be continuously and economically produced, boasting overwhelming cost-effectiveness for long-distance low-pressure water pipelines or civil engineering foundation works.
